Since September 2025, Kuldeep Singh has served as Executive Chef at Chutneys Bellevue, a North Indian restaurant in Washington, USA. The appointment marks the latest chapter in a career built over more than 22 years across some of the world’s most demanding kitchens — from Shangri-La properties in New Delhi, Jakarta, and Makati, to fine-dining restaurants in New York and Singapore’s Orchard Hotel.
At Chutneys Bellevue, Singh holds full responsibility for kitchen operations and leadership, managing day-to-day workflow and guiding the team to ensure smooth, timely service even during peak hours. On the culinary side, he develops and executes authentic North Indian dishes, paying close attention to consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation — standards he carried over from his years specializing in Indian cuisine at five-star international properties. He also oversees food costing, inventory management, and vendor coordination, applying the same operational discipline he developed while managing budgets and supply chains as Owner and Head Chef of his own hotel venture in Uttarakhand.
Food safety and regulatory compliance remain a core part of his role, an area reinforced by his formal certifications, including Food Safety & Hygiene training from Dubai and Shangri-La’s internal Food Safety Management System program. Drawing on his international experience across India, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and the UAE, Singh continues to bring five-star kitchen discipline, authentic regional Indian craftsmanship, and a guest-first approach to the dining scene in the greater Seattle area — building on a reputation for consistency and culinary excellence that has followed him across six countries and more than two decades in the industry.
