JP Indo Group, a rapidly emerging agricultural innovation company with expanding global presence, successfully organized “AARAMBH 2026”, a strategic business and research event at Ramada Plaza, Jammu. The event brought together over 100 distinguished guests, including company leadership, scientists, dealers, and stakeholders from the agricultural sector.
The event was led by Dr. J.P. Sharma, Chairman of JP Indo Group, who delivered the keynote address outlining the company’s journey, research achievements, and its long-term vision for transforming Indian agriculture through innovation. During his address, Dr. Sharma highlighted the company’s upcoming research initiatives in aromatic basmati rice, being developed under the Geneva Seeds Division, aimed at enhancing both yield potential and aromatic quality for domestic and export markets.
The scientific session was further led by Dr. Vishaw Vikas, who presented an in-depth overview of the organizational structure of JP Indo Group and its two major divisions — Geneva Seeds and North-West Plant Nutrition Division. He discussed the company’s extensive research efforts in leading maize hybrids, high-yielding paddy hybrids especially 100 days hybrid, and new varieties of vegetables including cauliflower, cabbage, tomato, and onion.
Dr. Vikas emphasized that the development of the company’s extensive hybrid seed portfolio has been the result of more than seven years of genetic research and gene pool management, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to scientific excellence.
In addition to seed innovation, the company also showcased its breakthrough work in plant nutrition. The development of DAI-MAX, a next-generation integrated fertilizer, represents over fourteen years of intensive research and has been developed through an Indo-Spanish technological collaboration. The product is based on OMF Technology, positioning it as a future-ready fertilizer designed to enhance soil health, nutrient efficiency, and crop productivity.

During the event, JP Indo Group also unveiled its advanced genetic innovation platforms, including:
- OLERON Genetics for vegetable crops
- LEONIS Corn for maize hybrids
- ORYZON Rice for paddy development
- LIPOGEN Series for oilseed crops
- LACTRA Forage for fodder crop improvement
- LEGION Pulses for advanced pulse breeding

Dr. D.K. Gupta, Breeder at Geneva Seeds, presented a comprehensive overview of the division’s research infrastructure and breeding programs. He elaborated on the company’s state-of-the-art seed research and production facility in Secunderabad, Telangana, and highlighted the development of advanced hybrid seeds and research varieties designed for improved productivity and climate resilience.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Abhay Mahajan, Chief Financial Officer of JP Indo Group, who appreciated the presence of all participants and announced new business initiatives and sales schemes for the company’s fertilizer portfolio, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its dealer network across the region.
