Ingredients:
- Ragi flour (Finger Millet Flour): 2 cups
- Jaggery: 1 cup, grated
- Desi ghee: 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder: 1/4 tsp
- Coconut powder: 1/2 cup
Method:
- Heat a thick-bottomed pan on low flame and dry roast the ragi flour, stirring continuously to avoid burning, until it releases a nutty aroma and turns slightly darker.
- Add the desi ghee to the roasted ragi flour and continue stirring for a couple of minutes until well combined.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Add the grated jaggery and cardamom powder, mixing thoroughly until the jaggery melts and combines well with the flour.
- While the mixture is still warm, take small portions and shape them into ladoos using your palms.
- Roll each ladoo in coconut powder for a festive finishing touch.
